I think the above is an excellent way to justify the need for better interfaces. I mentioned earlier that [[The gap between creative AI models and artists is an issue of interface design rather than computational capabilities]]. Bridging this gap might mean transitioning from enthusiast stage to professional stage.
In creative activities, Al has mostly been in the enthusiast stage. People who use it are mostly excited by the technology (AI artists) and have the technical expertise to make it work. However, new interfaces might be needed for the technology to move beyond AI artists, and be adopted by artists and creatives in general without programming expertise.
