I joined Google as an intern. It was an incredibly fun experience. The office had a climbing wall, free food, ping pong, gym, yoga, game room, massages and whatever you can imagine. I was mind blown. My team wanted to keep me so they hired me full-time, before I finished my degree. I worked as an account manager first. I was in charge of Amazon, Google largest advertising client. My job was to keep them spending by giving them good ad results. Working at the intersection between Google and Amazon was an amazing experience. I then transitioned to a different role. I became the specialist for all Google Ads products that involved complex measurement of results: estimating ad effectiveness from in incomplete data. My job was to help the largest advertisers in Latin America adopt these products. So I traveled around helping them do it. When I was in Argentina I found out I had been accepted for a masters in Australia.
